A lot of the teams enjoyed success over Memorial Weekend tournaments.

U9 Boys 4-0 took home the Championship at the Mequon Memorial Tournament.

U12 Boys fought hard. They took 3rd in the Elkhorn Tourney and came back from a 5 run deficit to win in California rules

U12 Girls battled but fell short to a good PBA team 8-12. They left it all on the field.

U10 Boys took first place in their tournament. Proud of the effort out there to become champs.

U10 Girls battled the heat and rain to become silver bracket champs. A great start to their tournament schedule.

Great job to all the others that played over this 2019 memorial weekend.

Levi and Rylan still smile and have fun even though the cold and rain during their game. Even though mother nature hasn’t been nice to the ball players, the teams are fighting back and playing though the rain and cold. Stay tough kids the warm is coming.

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2019 11th Annual Bronco Select Pig Roast. From the countless hours spent cooking the food to the entertainment it was a huge success. A thanks has to go out to all the teams parents who helped dish out food, run food and drink, sell tickets and raffles and so on.

A special thanks goes out to Cory Ashburn, Kari Katterhagen, Dawn VanSwol, Brooke Wolf and Bobby Katterhagen for going above and beyond to plan the event, manage the event, gather and manage the basket donations and cook up the food.

Thanks again and we hope to see you all next season! Go Bronco Select!

Brian McBryde and Scott Katterhagen kicked off their first episode of their podcast. They are excited to share this special Bronco Select project.

What’s in store? They are ready to inform the community and baseball and softball enthusiasts what the organization is all about but give depth interviews of coaches, kids and baseball and softball related professionals regarding their teams but also kids health and of course some fun stories mixed in.

Some topics could include:
• Education on what parents, coaches and kids can do to continue to improve.
• Opening up channels of communication not just within the organization but within the community as well.
• In depth interviews giving the coaches and players a voice to express the game they love.
• Baseball and softball professionals regarding health, play and sportsmanship.

You can find Bs’n with Skootr and McB on broncoselect.com and wherever you download your favorite podcasts.

The U10 fastpitch team laced up their cleats, dusted off the practice dirt from their gloves and had a great day of scrimmages. They won 7-5, 7-5 and lost 9-7 on the day. They competed, hit well, pitched well and it was a great way to get the season kicked off outside. We hope they play more often in May because when U10 plays usually the hottest day of the year follows them to the diamond.
