Game 1 – U11 Bronco Select 11U Slides Into A Blow-Out Win Over Thundercat Baseball

U11 Bronco Select 11U had all cylinders firing on offense on Saturday, winning big over Thundercat Baseball 19-3

U11 Bronco Select 11U tallied eight runs in the second inning. Cam O, Noah C, Griffin S, KJ H, and Ethan M powered the big inning with RBIs.
Ethan earned the victory on the mound for U11 Bronco Select 11U. He went two innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out four. Cam threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Vezzetti took the loss for Thundercat Baseball. He allowed two runs on two hits and walked zero.
U11 Bronco Select 11U tallied ten hits in the game. Tucker K, Griffin, and KJ all managed multiple hits for U11 Bronco Select 11U. KJ, Griffin, and Tucker each collected two hits to lead U11 Bronco Select 11U. U11 Bronco Select 11U stole 18 bases during the game as six players stole more than one. KJ led the way with four.

Game 2 – Three U11 Bronco Select 11U Pitchers Combine To Defeat Oak Creek Zone 11U In Shutout Game

U11 Bronco Select 11U defeated Oak Creek Zone 11U 8-0 on Saturday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Tucker K struck out Hamilton to finish off the game.

U11 Bronco Select 11U opened up scoring in the first inning. Tucker singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

U11 Bronco Select 11U tallied four runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to a walk by Cam O, a single by Ethan M, and a groundout by Zach H.

One bright spot for Oak Creek Zone 11U was a single by Pryor in the fourth inning.

KJ H was the winning pitcher for U11 Bronco Select 11U. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits and striking out three. Griffin S and Tucker entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Pryor toed the rubber for Oak Creek Zone 11U. He lasted four innings, allowing four hits and seven runs while striking out two. King threw one-third of an inning in relief.

Leo W, Ethan, Will M, Griffin, and Tucker each managed one hit to lead U11 Bronco Select 11U. U11 Bronco Select 11U didn’t commit a single error in the field. Leo had the most chances in the field with eight. U11 Bronco Select 11U tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Leo led the way with four.

The Bronco Select organization has committed to bringing a premier baseball diamond to Union Grove, and will dedicate this field to the late Pete Maurice, a local, well respected individual who spent countless hours resurrecting youth baseball in our community. The pavers purchased below will be installed by spring 2018 in a baseball design memorial that will be accompanied with his field sign. The pavers are available in three sizes and are a great way to honor Pete, acknowledge past, present, and future players, families, and any fan of local baseball and softball. Stiks Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory

U11 Bronco Select 11U fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 14-9 loss to Stiks on Saturday. Stiks scored on a double by Alden and a double by Jack in the first inning.

Despite the loss, U11 Bronco Select 11U did collect seven hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Stiks had eight hits on the way to victory.
Stiks got on the board in the first inning when Alden doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

U11 Bronco Select 11U scored six runs in the third inning. Aaden H, Tucker K, and KJ H each had RBIs in the big inning.
Stiks scored five runs in the second inning. Brayden, Noah, Alden, and Jack each had RBIs in the frame.

Braden led things off on the hill for Stiks. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out three and walking zero.

Ethan M led things off on the mound for U11 Bronco Select 11U. He surrendered two runs on three hits over one inning, striking out three. Griffin S, KJ, Zach H, and Cam O each entered the game as relief, throwing two innings, one inning, two-thirds of an inning, and one-third of an inning respectively.
